Educated- Tara Westover
Book Review and Quote:
Educated by Tara Westover is a memoir that dives into a variety of topics that created patterns throughout the life of the author, Tara, surrounding her family, mental health, and education. The novel is about Tara’s journey through her strict, radicalist, Mormon lifestyle, in which she was manipulated into believing that the words that her father spoke were the truth, and only the truth. My favorite part of the book was when Tara started going to Brigham Young University because from there, her life started to make more sense and she became less ignorant. If you like learning about different lifestyles, mental health, and the importance of education, you will love this book.
